First, I'm a wife, mother of two sons and a grandmother. Secondly, but not far behind, I'm a passionate artist with creativity that needs to come out and be expressed daily. My main focuses are working with clay, fused glass, and painting, but love to dabble in new and creative methods whenever I'm up for a fun challenge. Learning about art is as important to me as teaching it, which I currently do at Art Night, as well as personal classes, private events, and fundraisers.
My inspiration comes from my environment and those I love most, including my African Grey Parrot Louie! I find inspiration in most things and always keep an open mind to new approaches and styles.
I get to play in the mud for a living and I can't imagine doing anything else!
Creativity is the way we share our souls with the world.
This isn't your ordinary art class. It's Art Night! We're going to have a fun-filled, hands-on, artist-instructed session with music, friends, and wine! Learn how to do more than just paint with a fun experience in mixed-media and collage paintings, fused glass, paint-your-own pottery and jewelry making. As always, fellow creators, no experience is necessary as you'll go step-by-step through the creation of each piece and your inner artist will be discovered through your own unique masterpiece! Bring the guys and gals as it's a perfect excuse for an awesome date night or girls night out. Check out the slideshow below as 99% of the artists you'll see have never created art before! You can do it too! Please reserve your spot as soon as possible as seating is always limited. Can't wait!
I love private events! A private event can be anything you can think of; from birthday, bachelorette, and bridal shower parties to corporate team building and kid's events too. Art can play a role in just about any gathering or celebration!
I've had the honor of being able to "paint with a purpose" and host several fundraiser events as well! These included working with the community to create and paint ceramic bowls for the Empty Bowls Benefit as well as a benevolent art event to raise money for high school girls to purchase gowns!
I'm looking forward to hearing your ideas on how we can put our collective love for art to good use, whether it's fun or funds!
Start thinking and let me know how I can help.
